New Admin Computer Training

The ITS Training Staff will be conducting training for new, replacement computers for the RCOE Site Based Administrative Staff in locations and dates throughout the county. These training’s will provide you essential tips on how to get the most out of your new computer and the software installed. We will be going over some of the new features of Windows 7 and Office 2010 as well as some valuable shortcuts to help you get things done.

High School Mathematics Courses and Pathways

The Riverside County Office of Education will be facilitating a discussion on high school math courses and pathways found in the Common Core State Standards (CCSS). We will examine high school math courses recently approved by the State Board of Education (SBE), examine 8th grade common core math, explore the document Model Courses for Higher Mathematics/Appendix A and begin the discussion of pathways (traditional vs. integrated).
