This training is designed to build the knowledge and capacity for school site administrators to provide effective collaborative leadership for quality after school programs.
·Research shows that alignment of the school day and the after school program helps close the achievement gap and builds positive relationships.
·School administrators play a key role in the convergence of after school programs and the school day.
·High-quality after school programs expose students to experiences unavailable during the instructional day.
